Principal-led investment office
Patient capital for the frontier.
Yashar Family Investments invests across private technology and public markets. We back the companies building compute, intelligence, defense and the physical economy, and we hold them for a long time.
The office
A principal-led investment office in Silicon Valley, working across private technology and public markets.
Principal-led. Long-horizon. Concentrated where conviction is earned, and patient enough to be right.
The office is led by its principals, and their own capital sits in every position. That shapes everything: we stay concentrated where the work supports it, patient when a position takes years to prove itself, and quiet when there is nothing worth doing.
Frontier companies, from private rounds through to listing.
The silicon, compute and infrastructure underneath them.
Vehicles, fees and custody, underwritten like the company.

How we invest
Four rules we hold ourselves to. Every position has to clear all four.
- i
Depth over breadth.
We go deep on a company before we commit to it, and we size every position so it never forces our hand. Concentration is a consequence of conviction, not a strategy in itself.
Diligence before allocation - ii
Own what everything else depends on.
Compute, power, materials, defense and the infrastructure underneath them. Demand for these does not depend on a fashion cycle, and the companies that supply them tend to keep getting more important.
Compute · Power · Materials · Defense - iii
Read the wrapper before the company.
Most private access comes through vehicles, and every vehicle has a cost. We underwrite the fees, the carry, the custody and the distribution path with the same care as the business itself.
Fees · Carry · Custody · Distribution - iv
Cycles, not quarters.
Long-horizon capital has one structural edge: time. We underwrite in years, hedge what needs hedging, and are comfortable looking patient in the meantime.

When private becomes public
Cerebras and SpaceX both listed this year. The work after the bell is not what most people expect.
